The Lions Special Olympics, a flagship initiative of Lions Clubs International – District 3231 A1, is dedicated to empowering specially-abled and intellectually challenged children through the power of sports. Under the visionary leadership of Executive Chairperson Lion Hemanth S. Jain, the initiative has grown significantly over the past two years, witnessing greater participation, stronger organization, and deeper community engagement. To bring joy, dignity, and opportunity to every specially-abled child through sports, inclusion, and service guided by the spirit of Lionism. We believe that every child possesses unique potential. Our mission is to ensure that they are celebrated, supported, and seen as champions in life, both on and off the field.
We ensure: • Safe and inclusive participation under trained coaches and volunteers. • Medical support, meals, transportation, and guidance for all participants. • Recognition and medals to celebrate every child’s achievement. Through these efforts, we strive to bring joy, pride, and empowerment to every participant ensuring that no child is left unseen or unheard.

The Lions Special Olympics 2026 is a sports event organized for children with special needs, giving them a platform to showcase their talent, confidence, and abilities.
The Lions Special Olympics 2026 will be held on 9th January 2026 at Priyadarshini Park, Mumbai.
Children with physical or intellectual disabilities from different special schools can participate in the Lions Special Olympics 2026.
